about

A song based on a poem written by Alison Farina.

lyrics

Tarn of Tears
High in the mountains, neath the Mohican sun
From the clouding above, is a tarn made of tears
And a pool that is bright, cold, and blessed.

Love on these banks, made her swell made her grow,
But at the end of the day, love turned away.
And her tears were salty as stew, and she flew,

To the banks of Troy, (softly away)
Where she once knew a boy (softly away)
Who warmed her heart with a shiver…..

The babble and bubble of crystal-clear flow
Over feldspar and opal

And away with a shiver and gone,
To the banks of Troy etc,

Yet out of this salt, new life finds a home,
Adept in her waters anew,
She flows on and on and on and on and on

To the banks of Troy etc
