Inspired by the fabulous series 'Better Call Saul' in which we learn of the character's old nickname 'Slippin Jimmy'. What a story the writers told and to me, what a fantastic, fascinating character Saul Goodman is.
lyrics
Slippin’ Jimmy
High five, fall down, get up, slippin’Jimmy.
Talk fast, stay cool, no fuss, slippin’ Jimmy.
Wrong guys to cross and bluff, slippin’ Jimmy.
And now you’re out of luck.
What have you done, x2, who did you become this time?
You chose this path you’re on, slippin’ Jimmy,
But life made you keep on, slippin Jimmy,
You could have had it all, slippin’ Jimmy,
Now who you gonna call?
It better be Saul.
What have you done x2 Who did you become this time?
Fine lines (you become) such fine lines (what you’ve done)
You didn’t hurt nobody, (you become) Tried hard not to hurt anybody.
You didn’t hurt anyone at all, who you gonna call?
You played the game and lost, slippin’Jimmy,
And now you count the cost, slippin’ Jimmy,
So who you gonna call?
It better be Saul
Fine lines, (you become) such fine lines (what you’ve done)
You didn’t hurt nobody, (you become) Tried hard not to hurt anybody, but,
Watch them fall,
Better call Saul, better call Saul, better call Saul….

Cindy Stratton writes music that could be described as contemporary acoustic with powerful and haunting melodies. The songs
are compelling and reflective stories of life and love. She has an enormous vocal range and a great feel for harmony.
"Stratton is a force to be reckoned with - a sensitive and accomplished artiste, her songs are self-contained examinations of life and love..."
